The contest, organized, one more year, by Ecovalia, Diputación de Córdoba and the City of Montilla, under the technical direction of Rocío Márquez, has not missed its traditional appointment in 2020, despite the circumstances, and has been held in the Castle of the Grand Captain of Montilla the tasting of the samples presented, complying with all the measures and sanitary protocols established. In this sense, the Secretary General of Ecovalia, Diego Granado, stressed that "the organic wine sector continues to demonstrate, despite Covid-19, that it is a sector with a future and growing. The samples that have been presented are of high quality, proof that good organic wines are made in Spain.
In this edition, as a novelty, technological innovation has come to Ecoracimo with the use of a new evaluation tool to process the results of the tasters. It is a computer application developed by the Chair of Gastronomy of Andalusia and adapted by the technical team of the contest, which facilitated the obtaining of the final results.
