There are news that we like because they talk about our work, and there are others that excite us because they value an entire region. The one that comes to us from the middle Wines of Castile-La Mancha is one of the second: our Sparkling Tardana has been awarded the Great Gold the prestigious Wine Competition Real Casino of Madrid.
This recognition is not just another medal; is the confirmation that the innovation with our roots it has a reward.
The article, entitled ‘A sparkling Tardana and DO Manchuela variety among the Gran Oro of the Real Casino de Madrid Wine Competition’, highlights the uniqueness of this award.
Competing in the category of sparkling wines is usually the territory of other classical denominations. However, in Vega Tolosa We have always believed that the Tardana grape, with its hard skin and slow maturation, it had the perfect characteristics (acidity and structure) to create world-class bubbles.
This Great Gold confirms that we were not wrong:
Obtaining a Grand Gold in a contest with a jury as demanding as that of the Real Casino de Madrid guarantees that what is inside the bottle is pure excellence. Fine bubble, freshness and the unique personality of Manchuela.
