Vega Tolosa Best Winery National Rural Tourism Award 2026

Vega Tolosa, recognized as Best Winery in the National Rural Tourism Awards 2026

A recognition that belongs to an entire territory

Receive the award to the Best Winery in the National Rural Tourism Awards 2026, organized by ASETUR (Spanish Association of Rural Tourism), is an enormous joy for the whole Vega Tolosa family.

As highlighted by the jury, this recognition comes for our work in favor of sustainable viticulture, the projection of La Manchuela wines and our contribution to the wine tourism and economic development of the territory from environmental respect, innovation and link with the landscape.

But if there's one thing we feel when we receive this award, it's that it doesn't belong solely to us.

It also belongs to all the people who visit our winery every year, to those who trust our wines, to those who recommend our territory and to all the people who work to keep our villages alive.

Because behind every glass of wine there is so much more than a winery. There is a landscape, a culture and a community that deserves to be known.

The Cabriel Valley: a landscape that deserves to be discovered

VEGA TOLOSA is located in the heart of La Manchuela, within the Cabriel Valley Biosphere Reserve, one of the best preserved natural areas in Spain.

Here we cultivate more than 300 hectares of ecological vineyards surrounded by pine forests, Mediterranean forest and an extraordinary biodiversity that is part of our identity.

For years we have worked so that each person who visits us discovers not only our wines, but also the landscape from which they are born.

We deeply believe in the value of wine tourism as a tool to energize our towns and make known everything that La Manchuela can offer. That is why we were one of the pioneer wineries of the Wine Route of La Manchuela and today we continue to promote this project from its Presidency, convinced that the future of the rural environment also involves sharing its heritage, its culture and its way of life.

Thousands of visitors come every year to our winery attracted by wine, but they return home also talking about nature, villages, gastronomy and the authenticity of this region still unknown to many travelers.

We believe that wine tourism has the ability to generate something very valuable: help people fall in love with a territory.

And when that happens, the benefit reaches the entire local community.

Wine tourism, sustainability and future for our peoples

This award also recognises a way of understanding rural development.

We believe that it is possible to generate economic activity respecting the environment. That you can create jobs, attract visitors and project a territory to the world without giving up the values that make it unique.

Organic viticulture, the recovery of indigenous varieties such as Bobal, Tardana and Albilla, the conservation of the landscape and the commitment to wine tourism and sustainable tourism are part of that commitment.

That is why we are proud to be just one more piece within a much wider network of companies, rural accommodation, restaurants, artisans, producers and entrepreneurs who work every day to bring life to our villages and contribute to the development of rural tourism in Spain.

We especially want to thank ASETUR for this recognition and congratulate the rest of the companies awarded in the different categories.

And also to all those initiatives that, although they do not receive a prize, dedicate every day their effort, their time and their enthusiasm to build opportunities in rural areas.

Thanks also to all the people who visit us every year. You have made this recognition possible.

Whether you still do not know Vega Tolosa or if you have already visited us on occasion, we invite you to discover or rediscover our centuries-old vineyards, our ecological wines and the unique landscape of the Cabriel Valley. Because each season transforms the landscape, each vintage tells a different story and there are always new reasons to come back.
