Capricho DiVino Sauvignon Blanc 2018 (blue bottle) returns to the top in Madrid. Last Monday, November 18, a double tasting was held at the Casino de Madrid in which the absolute winning wines were presented in the national contest of wines from small Designations of Origin.
About 200 members of this emblematic and exclusive club in Madrid attended the tasting accompanied by journalists and personalities from the hospitality industry and the world of wine.
In the tasting, the seven winning wines per category were presented in a contest in which only wineries attached to a small wine region with a Designation of Origin can participate, in this case Pagos de Familia Vega Tolosa participated with Capricho Divino Sauvignon Blanc 2018 on behalf of the D.O. Manchuela, one of the small DO’s but with a current recognition in growth.
The contest Pequeños D.O.s was born with the aim of making known to the final consumer the wide wine wealth of Spain, betting on wines made in wine-growing areas that by size, have less visibility in the wine market.
