In our vineyards of La Manchuela, the flight of birds is part of everyday life. It is enough to stop a few minutes between the vineyards to see how the raptors fly over the canyons of J\u00facar and Cabriel, how they take advantage of the hot air currents or how they disappear among the pine forests that surround the vineyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among all of them, there is one that has always fascinated us especially: the Pilgrim FalconFalco peregrinus<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n For his elegance. When we started this project, we understood that this symbol perfectly represented what we wanted to express with these wines: connection with nature, freedom and discovery of the territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is how Finca Los Halcones was born.<\/p>\n\n\n\n La Manchuela is one of those places that still have something difficult to find: natural balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Located between the J\u00facar and Cabriel rivers, this region of the Mediterranean interior combines vineyards of altitude, Mediterranean forest, ravines, snouts and canyons that create an ideal environment for numerous species of migratory birds and raptors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our vineyards are located within a SPA (Special Protection Area for Birds), a recognition that protects areas of great ecological value and biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here, birds find shelter, food and tranquility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The pine forests that surround the vineyards are not only part of the landscape. They also create a natural microclimate that protects the vineyard from winds and helps maintain a slow and balanced ripening of the grapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Everything coexists in harmony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Birds are part of the ecosystem. That's why Finca Los Halcones isn't just a pretty name.
